Swimming pools

To make your holiday even more special, we've installed two swimming pools.
We have a heated indoor pool so you can relax and enjoy a swim whatever the weather!
This pool is open from Easter to the end of October and during the autumn and winter school holidays.
It measures approximately 5 by 3.5 meters and is 1.5 meters deep throughout.
It is normally heated to 28ºC - at least as warm as the Caribbean Sea!
Our outdoor pool opening times are weather dependent. . It is heated by solar panels and measures 10m x 5m. Depths range from 1.2 to 1.5 meters.
There's a large terrace all around, and is a real sun-trap!
Of course, we provide sun loungers, pool towels and the all-important shower room, so... what are you waiting for?

Meet Dora

Hello ! My name is Dora.
I live in Les Coudreaux with my owners, Lynne and Simon
.
I adopted them when I was about 4 months old and I let them think they are in charge - I find it easier that way...
I have a great life here - I have lots of space to run around and explore, I'm fed really good food (well, it's France) and I often stay out all night and sleep most of the day.
The only downside is that another cat seems to have decided that this is a good place to live. His name is Ginger - a strange name if you ask me... I'm trying to get rid of him by jumping on him when he least expects it, but so far it doesn't seem to be working. I'll have to work on plan B when I've got time...
You should come and see me at Coudreaux, but if you do, I'm not to be fed by you apparently...
See you soon!

Fauna and Flora

Wildlife and livestock
As you'd expect from a holiday destination in the heart of the French countryside, we're surrounded by extraordinary flora and fauna.
For bird lovers, there are kestrels, swallows and swifts, a woodpecker, tree creepers, finches of all kinds, blackbirds and sparrows, barn owls and tawny owls.
For those who love four-legged animals, if you're lucky you'll see roe deer at the bottom of our garden as well as a magnificent hare and, of course, the ubiquitous Normandy cows that provide the milk for the fantastic dairy products this part of Normandy is rightly famous for.
As far as pets are concerned, we have two cats - you can read more about them on the page entitled "Dora".
We currently have 6 hens and are delighted to share their eggs with our guests - the yellow ones are incredibly yellow as they spend their days free range on the grass! We also have 2 geese that we hatched from eggs - it was wonderful to see them being born! At some point, we'll also be looking to complete our menagerie with pigs.

Games Room

Have fun whatever the weather! There's a dart board, table soccer, pool table, PS2 console, lots of board games, toys and a library of books. You can also borrow DVDs. This area is loved by children and adults alike!
